UPS and Potholes may be the death of me!

So, last week when I was sitting at home in my snow prison with no more cleaning to do, I resigned to the fact that the shopping that I hoped to do before Clay arrived was probably NOT going to happen, and I was determined that I wanted some fun yet very practical cold weather boots. Thankfully, Endless.com came to my rescue with free one day shipping...so began my extreme frustration with UPS over these two packages...

 

...that I just received today.
Placed one day delivery order Wednesday.
Boots should arrive Thursday while I'm home from work, but no sign.
Friday, go back to work, tracking order tells me that the shoes are in Alexandria, but unable to be delivered due to "unforeseen circumstances." 
Saturday... I was a little preoccupied. ;)
Sunday and Monday no UPS delivery.
Tuesday I get a slip on my door (mind you they should've arrived on Thursday) that they tried to deliver, so I changed the delivery to be a pick-up at the customer service center.
So on Wednesday I leave my work-out a few minutes early to get to the customer center before they close. And what do they tell me?!?!? The cut off for changing delivery to pick-up is 7. 7?!?!? I don't get home til after 7 so of COURSE I didn't get it in before the cut off time! So they tell me tomorrow.
Then I get there today, and it takes 30 minutes for them to find my package... and I'm the ONLY person in the store with AT LEAST 5 employees. It was ridiculous!!

But the contents of the package were worth the wait. The second ones are a little more warm and practical, but I'm not sure if they're keepers. What do you think?! Keep or return for free?

  1. I love the first ones!! Probably because they have a bow and remind me of my favorite American Girl doll ;)
