The world would be a much safer place

Without smart cars.

They are not smart. Maybe they are fuel efficient, maybe they are easy to parallel park, but they are absolutely ridiculous in traffic. I want to know the statistics on wrecks in these things. No, I don't mean the statistics of the safety of the vehicle if involved in a crash; I mean the percentage of them that get in accidents.

They are abundant in the DC metropolitan area, and I was very disturbed to find out a few days ago in traffic (on my new commute) that the tiny little thing fits in my blind spot. Yes, I do mean fits quite literally. It's ridiculous. It was quite a close call. Smart cars = NOT a smart buy if you're planning to be on a road filled with average sized vehicles. It's like putting a small child in a mob of obese adults all by it's lonesome. I mean, seriously, the child would get crushed.

Hence, do not buy a smart car if you want to be my friend.  :)

Yes... I will update the blog soon with pictures of the place and all my recent activities. This one is just a brief rant before I leave the office so Amber will pay me. Yes, I am now paid to blog.

Photos galore, and another bday!

This morning when I arrived at work, I had an email declaring that it was Cookie Monster's birthday today. And since I was formerly aka Cookie Monster, it makes it a special day for me too! Yay! Sorry to disappoint, I got home too late to actually bake cookies, but they will be made this week, and the sender of the email will get a box in the mail. See the things you get for being my friend?! :) Oh, and you must check out the Cookie Monster link above... It's Muppet Wiki....how much cooler can you get.

Now for the much anticipated photos. The only documented days were Tuesday and Sunday nights (at least on this camera).

 Converse ladies...Apparently we weren't the only ones who wore our sunglasses at night. Kara, Connie, and I on our last night in CLT.

Sister Brooke's best friend in high school sang this song that went, "Pick another nose, pick a nose next to you, pick another nose, and sing, sing alonggggg!" Now I sing it too. Like my "wonder woman" bracelet? :) Oh, and Son is sporting the shades someone left at the Banquet Thursday night. (the same ones Kara had on) They were genuinely from the 80s, and we LOVED them.
